Women Empowerment - Eastman Exports

Women Empowerment

International Women’s Day Celebration
IWD is perceived to celebrate the success of women in all spheres of life to elevate the awareness of women’s equality. Identifying, celebrating, and escalating the visibility of women can help forge equality. Therefore we always appreciate and recognize our women employees for their valuable contribution to Eastman Exports. Women are assembled into teams and many events, programs, and games are conducted to encourage their unity and sisterhood on this day.

Awareness / Sensitization plays
The primary objective of the play on awareness act is to take the social messages and reach out to a large group of employees effectively through visual entertainment. We organize awareness plays to educate our employees on the concerns of Gender-Based Violence(GBV) against Women, Sexual Harassment, Child labor, and other Social Evils and to create awareness of the importance of Health, Hygiene, and Sanitation. The play helps in Gender Sensitization of our employees and brings down Gender Discrimination in the workplace.

P. A. C. E -Personal Advancement & Career Enhancement
P.A.C.E is an innovative workplace program for Female Garment Workers (FGWs). We aim to build the capacities of our workers by enhancing the managerial, interpersonal, organizational, and other practical skills they need to move forward in work and life. As a result this program positively impacts our female employees by providing the foundational skills and support to help them advance in the workplace and their personal lives. It creates a sustainable and scalable program model that benefits all participants. Our broader women empowerment strategy includes ensuring alignment across all efforts impacting women and leveraging gender inclusion. This commitment to equality extends to all aspects of our business, from learning and development to leadership training.

Our Continuous Endeavour To Ramp Up
We encourage and engage our employees in a series of training, workshops, and cultural activities to develop their skills and well-being.
